I consider myself a fortunate man because on the one hand I had my mother, a weaver of words and history who instilled in us an enduring love for this land. Her tales of Conquistadors and poets, of soaring Andes and whispering deserts, echoed in our ears as we, her children, traced her footsteps across every inch of Chile. But on the other hand I have my wife who has been the fundamental pillar of this family; she has given us two sons and one daughter to form this phenomenal team.
